Lanzarotte 2000 17th to 31st August 2000. 2 weeks this summer, the Canary Islands saw a mini invasion by the English and Irish. A fantastic villa, great weather, superb company, but the local nightlife was a lot to be desired. Memorable for the backgammon, Harry Potter, "250 for de puppies", legendary BBQ's, windsurfing, and of course the infamous potato bashing that went on every day!!
